Therapy for couples, individuals and relationships
Something Has to Change and You No Longer Need Face It Alone
Whether you can articulate this with specific words, or what you are feeling now is just so heavy a burden, you know something is leading you here. That the current way of living or loving feels impossible to sustain. Either way, your intuition that something isn't right is enough to start.

Where you are now is exactly the right place for moving forward
Therapy for the Life You Imagine
This landing page is designed as a warm introduction to my practice. A hub page, Services, outlines the specific support I offer across four core areas:
-
Connecting as a Couple — Relationships at every stage of drift, strain, or rebuilding
-
When Trust Feels Broken — Infidelity, rupture, and repair of what has frayed
-
Growing Toward Connection — For those carrying weight that was never meant to be carried alone
-
When Something Feels Wrong — Shame, recurring patterns, and the lingering emotional imprint of past experience
Each doorway reflects a different way people arrive to therapy — whether through rattling but quiet uncertainty or in moments of acute relational or internal crisis, and each offers a distinct path toward understanding and evolution.

I also work with couples and individuals navigating changing needs around intimacy, sexuality, and connection as relationships evolve over time. As a male therapist, I offer a space where men who are skeptical of therapy often find themselves more comfortable than they expected. I also specifically work with partners of trauma survivors — an often overlooked experience carrying its own profound burden.

I'm Mark Stewart, a therapist based in Columbia, SC, seeing clients in person and virtually across South Carolina — including Camden and surrounding areas. I have limited openings available, with both day and evening appointments. Whatever brought you here, you've come to the right place. Ready to find support? Tell me what you need help with.
