MY THERAPY PRACTICE IN COLUMBIA, SC AND VIRTUALLY ACROSS SOUTH CAROLINA

Welcome! I offer therapy for personal struggles, relationship stresses, and life transitions, individually or together. Through a relational approach, we can explore and strengthen your interpersonal bonds and work together to help you navigate high-stakes situations to strengthen your most important connections, including with yourself. Enhancing connection is a key part of my work with romantic / sexual partners, and with families. Life is as much about how we tell our stories, to ourselves and to others, as it is the content of these narratives. Being newly seen and heard in more complete ways can be transformative and hope-inducing.

In-person appointments in a relaxed atmosphere in downtown Columbia and virtual online sessions across South Carolina for state residents.I look forward to hearing from you and do, at present (5/12/25), have limited availabilities.

SPECIALIZING IN COUPLES THERAPY, MEN'S ISSUES, AND MARRIAGE COUNSELING

Cascade Therapy offers a range of talk therapy including individual counseling, couples counseling, and family therapy. While men and men's issues is an individual counseling focus, people come for other reasons as well. If it makes sense to you, its a great reason to contact me to discuss your situation. Each therapy session is tailored to support the emotional well-being and growth of my clients. Personal struggles, relationship stresses, and life transitions (and communication challenges in general) are a particular focus of my therapist practice. This often begins with restoring trust, in ourselves as much as with others of critical importance in our lives.

Maintaining a safe-place atmosphere where everyone’s feelings, voices and person are respected and valued is a primary goal. Your story matters, and while the situation which brought you here to my page, in this moment, may feel like a terrible crisis or a long-brewing collapse, talk therapy can help you discover new possibilities - and hope for the future. We can work together to help you get unstuck and resource new ways to understand, and address, your life.

I strive to incorporate evidence-based therapy approaches, including Emotionally-Focused Therapy for couples and marriage counseling, where I have completed my advanced level training in this approach and am continuing toward full certification.
